Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 7th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 206 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 67 patients, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 62, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 13, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 32, Jalal-Abad province – 12, and Batken province – 6.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 77 376 patients.

New cases

As of January 7th, 2021, a total of 170 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 54, Osh city – 8, Chuy province – 49, Osh province – 16, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 20, Jalal-Abad province – 10, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 81 826 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 815 laboratory-confirmed cases and 39 011 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 703 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 885 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1277 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 311, Osh city – 33, Chuy province – 226, Osh province – 70, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 38, Issyk-Kul province – 112, Jalal-Abad province – 50, Batken province – 36. Out of the 885 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 9 people (1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 573 patients (64.7%) are in moderately severe condition, 249 (28.1%) in severe and 54 (6.1%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 502, Osh city – 44, Chuy province – 314, Osh province – 50, Talas province – 19, Naryn province – 23, Issyk-Kul province – 228, Jalal-Abad province – 56, Batken province – 41.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data were registered in the past twenty-four hours (in Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1363 cases, including 418 laboratory-confirmed cases and 945 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Six (6) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 2 cases in Bishkek city, 2 cases in Chuy province, 1 case in Issyk-Kul province, and 1 case in Talas province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4134. In the past twenty-four hours, 4 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 5 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3975 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
