Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 8th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 171 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 46 patients, Osh city – 14, Chuy province – 45, Osh province – 12, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 26, Jalal-Abad province – 12, and Batken province – 6.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 77 547 patients.

New cases

As of January 8th, 2021, a total of 165 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 77, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 21, Osh province – 16, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 24, Jalal-Abad province – 17, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 81 991 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 910 laboratory-confirmed cases and 39 081 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1 514 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 887 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1266 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 313, Osh city – 26, Chuy province – 229, Osh province – 69, Talas province – 10, Naryn province – 43, Issyk-Kul province – 123, Jalal-Abad province – 41, Batken province – 33. Out of the 887 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 7 people (0.7%) is categorized as satisfactory, 570 patients (64.2 %) are in moderately severe condition, 253 (28.5%) in severe and 57 (6.4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 530, Osh city – 37, Chuy province – 286, Osh province – 55, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 22, Issyk-Kul province – 215, Jalal-Abad province – 70, Batken province – 39.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19  (Bishkek) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Batken province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1365 cases, including 419 laboratory-confirmed cases and 946 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Seven (7) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 2 cases in Bishkek city, 1 case in Osh province, 3 cases in Jalal-Abad province, and 1 case in Talas province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4141. In the past twenty-four hours, 4 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3983 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
