Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for January 9th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 204 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 69 patients, Osh city – 6, Chuy province – 49, Osh province – 11, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 45, Jalal-Abad province – 15, and Batken province – 4.

The total number of recoveries during the entire period: 77 751 patients.

New cases

As of January 9th, 2021, a total of 147 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 70, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 38, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 21, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 5.

Overall, 82 138 cases were registered during the entire period, including 42 984 laboratory-confirmed cases and 39 154 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1 570 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 862 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 1232 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 302, Osh city – 26, Chuy province – 215, Osh province – 70, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 41, Issyk-Kul province – 131, Jalal-Abad province – 33, Batken province – 32. Out of the 862 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 9 people (1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 553 patients (64.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 247 (28.6%) in severe and 53 (6.1%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 541, Osh city – 34, Chuy province – 289, Osh province – 48, Talas province –  9, Naryn province – 24, Issyk-Kul province – 182, Jalal-Abad province – 64, Batken province – 41.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered In the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Talas). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1367 cases, including 420 laboratory-confirmed cases and 947 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 1 case in Chuy province, 1 case in Osh province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4143. In the past twenty-four hours, 6 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 8 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3997 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
