In the past twenty-four hours, 48 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 18 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 11, Osh province – 6, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 766 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 12th, 2021, a total of 63 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 31, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 18, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 86 755 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 787 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 968 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 091 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 312 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 260 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 123, Osh city – 11, Chuy province – 91, Osh province – 15, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 17, Issyk-Kul province – 43, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 3. Out of the 312 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 3 people (0.9%) is categorized as satisfactory, 211 patients (67.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 78 (25%) in severe and 20 (6.4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 133, Osh city – 8, Chuy province – 53, Osh province – 25, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 17, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 11.

Fatalities

 

Four (4) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 3 cases due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Chuy, Issyk-Kul, Jalal-Abad provinces). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1480 cases, including 466 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1014 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

One (1) new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours – in Bishkek city. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4207. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4195 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
