In the past twenty-four hours, 39 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 16 patients, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 7, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 8, Jalal-Abad province – 6, Batken province – 2.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 875 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 15th, 2021, a total of 67 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 43, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 16, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 4, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 86 917 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 860 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 057 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2 358 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 345 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 275 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 153, Osh city – 14, Chuy province – 96, Osh province – 15, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 16, Issyk-Kul province – 43, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 3. Out of the 345 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 1 person (0.2%) is categorized as satisfactory, 236 patients (68.4%) are in moderately severe condition, 91 (26.3%) in severe and 17 (4.9%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 149, Osh city – 8, Chuy province – 54, Osh province – 29, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 19, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 5.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours – both due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek, Jalal-Abad province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1483 cases, including 466 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1017 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

One (1) new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours – in Bishkek city. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4208. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4195 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
