Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 924 patients.

New cases
As of March 16th, 2021, a total of 73 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 23, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 40, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 3, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 2.
Overall, 86 990 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 899 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 091 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Receiving treatment
Currently, a total of 337 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 307 people are in outpatient care.
The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 156, Osh city – 13, Chuy province – 98, Osh province – 14, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 15, Issyk-Kul province – 34, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 2. Out of the 337 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 2 people (0.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 233 patients (69.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 87 (25.8%) in severe and 15 (4.4%) in critical condition.
The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 154, Osh city – 8, Chuy province – 83, Osh province – 29, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 16, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 7.
Fatalities
One (1) death due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data was registered in the past twenty-four hours (Chuy province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1484 cases, including 466 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1018 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.
Medical workers
No new COVID-19 case were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4208. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home.
