Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 84 031 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 18th, 2021, a total of 98 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 49, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 36, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 87 143 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 980 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 163 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 597 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 347 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 337 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 161, Osh city – 16, Chuy province – 100, Osh province – 16, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 15, Issyk-Kul province – 32, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 2. Out of the 347 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 1 person (0.2%) is categorized as satisfactory, 244 patients (70.3%) are in moderately severe condition, 85 (24.4%) in severe and 17 (4.8%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 176, Osh city – 8, Chuy province – 95, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 8, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

No deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1485 cases, including 466 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1019 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4208. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4195 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
