In the past twenty-four hours, 53 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 29 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 19, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 2, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 84 084 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 19th, 2021, a total of 96 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 43, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 35, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 8, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 87 239 cases were registered during the entire period, including 45 049 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 190 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 869 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 400 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 324 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 181, Osh city – 17, Chuy province – 113, Osh province – 17, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 25, Issyk-Kul province – 37, Jalal-Abad province – 8, Batken province – 2. Out of the 400 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 272 people (68%) is categorized moderately severe, 108 (27%) are in severe and 20 (5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 168, Osh city – 9, Chuy province – 97, Osh province – 33, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data were registered in the past twenty-four hours in Bishkek. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1487 cases, including 466 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1021 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours – in Bishkek city. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4210. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4195 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
