In the past twenty-four hours, 31 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 14 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 14, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 0, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 210 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 1st, 2021, a total of 22 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 9, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 4, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 4, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 86 251 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 592 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 659 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2 084 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 353 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 283 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 120, Osh city – 15, Chuy province – 99, Osh province – 26, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 20, Issyk-Kul province – 50, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 13. Out of the 353 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 2 people (0.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 242 patients (68.5%) are in moderately severe condition, 93 (26.3%) in severe and 16 (4.5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 92, Osh city – 15, Chuy province – 78, Osh province – 30, Talas province – 8, Naryn province – 18, Issyk-Kul province – 27, Jalal-Abad province – 8, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths from COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours – both due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1466 cases, including 460 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1006 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4205. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4179 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
