In the past twenty-four hours, 46 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 23 patients, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 17, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 84 130 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 20th, 2021, a total of 82 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 55, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 19, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 87 321 cases were registered during the entire period, including 45 115 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 206 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3824 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 395 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 363 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 176, Osh city – 18, Chuy province – 120, Osh province – 18, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 15, Issyk-Kul province – 37, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 2. Out of the 395 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 2 people (0.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 277 patients (70.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 98 (24.8%) in severe and 18 (4.5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 204, Osh city – 7, Chuy province – 92, Osh province – 32, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 8, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data was registered in the past twenty-four hours (Issyk-Kul province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1488 cases, including 466 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1022 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Seven (7) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek – 4, Chuy province – 3). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4217. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4195 medical workers have recovered in the republic
