As of March 23rd, 2021, a total of 75 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 56, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 12, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 3, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 87 537 cases were registered during the entire period, including 45 260 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 277 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2571 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 459 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 367 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 215, Osh city – 23, Chuy province – 145, Osh province – 12, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 12, Issyk-Kul province – 38, Jalal-Abad province – 11, Batken province – 3. Out of the 459 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 6 people (1.3%) is categorized as satisfactory, 304 patients (66.2%) are in moderately severe condition, 131 (28.5%) in severe, and 18 (3.9%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 250, Osh city – 7, Chuy province – 45, Osh province – 30, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 14, Jalal-Abad province – 7, Batken province – 4.

Fatalities

 

No deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1490 cases, including 466 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1024 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Medical workers

One (1) new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4221. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4195 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
