In the past twenty-four hours, 65 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 26 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 20, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 84 339 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 24th, 2021, a total of 115 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 66, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 42, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 3, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 87 652 cases were registered during the entire period, including 45 336 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 316 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5 325 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 474 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 402 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 217, Osh city – 23, Chuy province – 163, Osh province – 10, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 33, Jalal-Abad province – 15, Batken province – 3. Out of the 474 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (0.8%) is categorized as satisfactory, 319 patients (67.2%) are in moderately severe condition, 133 (28%) in severe and 18 (3.7%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 288, Osh city – 9, Chuy province – 49, Osh province – 29, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 11, Issyk-Kul province – 12, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 4.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 and 1 case due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall COVID-19 death toll in the republic comprises 1492 cases, including 467 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1025 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

One (1) new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (Chuy province). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4222. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4195 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
