In the past twenty-four hours, 68 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 30 patients, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 25, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 7, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 84 407 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 25th, 2021, a total of 106 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 61, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 40, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 1, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 87 758 cases were registered during the entire period, including 45 400 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 358 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4 167 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 508 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 406 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 244, Osh city – 21, Chuy province – 152, Osh province – 11, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 25, Issyk-Kul province – 37, Jalal-Abad province – 15, Batken province – 3. Out of the 508 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (0.7%) is categorized as satisfactory, 352 patients (69.2%) are in moderately severe condition, 132 (25.9%) in severe and 20 (3.9%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 277, Osh city – 8, Chuy province – 75, Osh province – 28, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 2, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 6.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours – both from COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1494 cases, including 467 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1027 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4224. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4196 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
