In the past twenty-four hours, 62 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 36 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 23, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 0, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 84 469 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 26th, 2021, a total of 100 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 45, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 46, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 87 858 cases were registered during the entire period, including 45 470 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 388 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4723 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 505 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 446 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 246, Osh city – 20, Chuy province – 153, Osh province – 11, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 44, Jalal-Abad province – 19, Batken province – 3. Out of the 505 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 5 people (0.9%) is categorized as satisfactory, 345 patients (68.3%) are in moderately severe condition, 136 (26.9%) in severe and 19 (3.7%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 278, Osh city – 7, Chuy province – 97, Osh province – 30, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 24, Issyk-Kul province – 0, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

No deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours. The overall COVID-19 death toll in the republic comprises 1494 cases, including 467 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1027 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Five (5) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek – 3, Chuy province – 2). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4229. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4196 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
