In the past twenty-four hours, 68 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 36 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 27, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 0, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 84 537 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 27th, 2021, a total of 88 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 55, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 24, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 87 946 cases were registered during the entire period, including 45 542 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 404 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4604 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 528 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 437 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 255, Osh city – 20, Chuy province – 164, Osh province – 10, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 48, Jalal-Abad province – 18, Batken province – 3. Out of the 528 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (0.7%) is categorized as satisfactory, 366 patients (69.3%) are in moderately severe condition, 138 (26.1%) in severe and 20 (3.7%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 300, Osh city – 5, Chuy province –  82, Osh province – 30, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 0, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

No deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1494 cases, including 467 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1027 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Medical workers

Four (4) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek city). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4233. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4196 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
