In the past twenty-four hours, 63 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 34 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 16, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 84 600 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 28th, 2021, a total of 146 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 101, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 34, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 7, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 88 092 cases were registered during the entire period, including 45 657 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 435 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 578 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 528 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 520 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 249, Osh city – 18, Chuy province – 174, Osh province – 9, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 13, Issyk-Kul province – 43, Jalal-Abad province – 18, Batken province – 4. Out of the 528 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (0.7%) is categorized as satisfactory, 372 patients (70.4%) are in moderately severe condition, 133 (25.1%) in severe and 19 (3.5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 373, Osh city – 6, Chuy province – 90, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 6.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 was registered in the past twenty-four hours in Bishkek. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1495 cases, including 468 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1027 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Five (5) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek – 4, Chuy province – 1). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4238. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4196 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
