In the past twenty-four hours, 53 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 31 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 7, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 0, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 84 653 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 29th, 2021, a total of 71 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 53, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 11, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 88 163 cases were registered during the entire period, including 45 723 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 440 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1 645 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 550 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 515 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 272, Osh city – 18, Chuy province – 174, Osh province – 9, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 13, Issyk-Kul province – 44, Jalal-Abad province – 16, Batken province – 4. Out of the 550 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (0.7%) is categorized as satisfactory, 401 patients (72.9%) are in moderately severe condition, 122 (22.1%) in severe and 23 (4.1%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 371, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 94, Osh province – 23, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 6.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours: 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 in Bishkek and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data also in Bishkek. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1497 cases, including 469 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1028 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Four (4) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case in the red zone (Bishkek – 2 (1 in the red zone), Chuy province – 2). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4242. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4196 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
