In the past twenty-four hours, 59 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 17 patients, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 23, Osh province – 7, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 5.
Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 269 patients.

New cases
As of March 2nd, 2021, a total of 57 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 24, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 22, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 0.
Overall, 86 308 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 610 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 698 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

Receiving treatment
Currently, a total of 353 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 280 people are in outpatient care.
The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 124, Osh city – 16, Chuy province – 89, Osh province – 23, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 20, Issyk-Kul province – 61, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 10. Out of the 353 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 2 people (0.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 242 patients (68.5%) are in moderately severe condition, 92 (26%) in severe and 17 (4.8%) in critical condition.
The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 94, Osh city – 13, Chuy province – 87, Osh province – 27, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 19, Issyk-Kul province – 17, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 5.
Fatalities
One (1) death due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 was registered in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1467 cases, including 461 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1006 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.
Medical workers
No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4205. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care, and 3 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4183 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
