In the past twenty-four hours, 86 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 44 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 25, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 13, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 84 809 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 31st, 2021, a total of 98 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 48, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 36, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 88 374 cases were registered during the entire period, including 45 868 laboratory-confirmed cases and 42 506 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5388 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 503 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 616 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 253, Osh city – 16, Chuy province – 155, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 35, Jalal-Abad province – 16, Batken province – 16. Out of the 503 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 366 people (72.7%) is categorized as moderately severe, 114 patients (22.6%) are in severe condition and 23 (4.5%) – in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 416, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 149, Osh province – 15, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 17, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 0.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 was registered in the past twenty-four hours (in Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1499 cases, including 470 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1029 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

One (1) new COVID-19 case was registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (Issyk-Kul province). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4246. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4197 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
