In the past twenty-four hours, 49 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 17 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 12, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 318 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 3rd, 2021, a total of 48 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 19, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 13, Osh province – 6, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 6, Jalal-Abad province – 2, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 86 356 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 619 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 737 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4097 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 355 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 275 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 121, Osh city – 14, Chuy province – 99, Osh province – 22, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 20, Issyk-Kul province – 58, Jalal-Abad province – 7, Batken province – 11. Out of the 355 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 1 person (0.2%) is categorized as satisfactory, 240 patients (67.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 100 (28.1%) in severe and 14 (3.9%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 97, Osh city – 12, Chuy province – 78, Osh province – 32, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 17, Issyk-Kul province – 17, Jalal-Abad province – 8, Batken province – 5.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data was registered in the past twenty-four hours (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1468 cases, including 461 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1007 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4205. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4186 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
