In the past twenty-four hours, 60 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 17 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 15, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 13, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 484 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 6th, 2021, a total of 55 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 21, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 14, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 11, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 1.

Overall, 86 506 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 680 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 826 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3188 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 344 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 267 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 120, Osh city – 14, Chuy province – 98, Osh province – 22, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 18, Issyk-Kul province – 60, Jalal-Abad province – 6, Batken province – 6. Out of the 344 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (1.1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 240 patients (69.7%) are in moderately severe condition, 83 (24.1%) in severe and 17 (4.9%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 104, Osh city – 11, Chuy province – 69, Osh province – 32, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 18, Jalal-Abad province – 10, Batken province – 8.

Fatalities

 

One (1) death due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data was registered in the past twenty-four hours (Issyk-Kul province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1471 cases, including 462 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1009 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4206. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4194 medical workers have recovered in the republic
