In the past twenty-four hours, 46 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 17 patients, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 14, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 8, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 2.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 530 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 7th, 2021, a total of 44 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 21, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 5, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 12, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 86 550 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 692 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 858 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2 580 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 346 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 261 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 127, Osh city – 15, Chuy province – 94, Osh province – 19, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 19, Issyk-Kul province – 61, Jalal-Abad province – 6, Batken province – 5. Out of the 346 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 3 people (0.8%) is categorized as satisfactory, 241 patients (69.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 88 (25.4%) in severe and 14 (4%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 99, Osh city – 12, Chuy province – 64, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 11, Issyk-Kul province – 21, Jalal-Abad province – 10, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

No deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours. The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1471 cases, including 462 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1009 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4206. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 1 medical worker was released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4195 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
