Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 83 606 patients.

New cases

 

As of March 9th, 2021, a total of 23 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 16, Osh city – 0, Chuy province – 1, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 5, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 86 606 cases were registered during the entire period, including 44 713 laboratory-confirmed cases and 41 893 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

2271 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 330 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 256 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 122, Osh city – 11, Chuy province – 89, Osh province – 16, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 19, Issyk-Kul province – 59, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 5. Out of the 330 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 1 person (0.3%) is categorized as satisfactory, 233 patients (70.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 82 (24.8%) in severe and 14 (4.2%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 101, Osh city – 12, Chuy province – 51, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 33, Jalal-Abad province – 10, Batken province – 7.

Fatalities

 

Two (2) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 1 case due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1475 cases, including 464 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1011 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

No new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4206. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4195 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
