Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 257 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 187 patients, Osh city – 7, Chuy province – 42, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 7, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 91,816 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 10th, 2021, a total of 254 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 195, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 25, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 17, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 98,654 cases were registered during the entire period, including 54,271 laboratory-confirmed cases and 44,383 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3,493 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,683 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,496 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 930, Osh city – 36, Chuy province – 447, Osh province – 25, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 65, Issyk-Kul province – 142, Jalal-Abad province – 17, Batken province – 14. Out of the 1,683 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 9 people (0.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,149 patients (68.2%) are in moderately severe condition, 434 (25.7%) in severe and 91 (5.4%) in critical  condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,739, Osh city – 57, Chuy province – 471, Osh province – 32, Talas province – 15, Naryn province – 20, Issyk-Kul province – 108, Jalal-Abad province – 49, Batken province – 5.

Fatalities

 

Five (5) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 2, Chuy province – 1) and 2 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek, Chuy province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,660 cases, including 557 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,103 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Seven (7) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case in the red zone (Bishkek city). The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,495. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care and 3 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,429 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
