Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 304 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 191 patients, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 75, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 6, Issyk-Kul province – 17, Jalal-Abad province – 7, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 92,120 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 11th, 2021, a total of 379 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 240, Osh city – 5, Chuy province – 103, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 13, Jalal-Abad province – 1, Batken province – 5.

Overall, 99,033 cases were registered during the entire period, including 54,568 laboratory-confirmed cases and 44,465 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4,223 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,703 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,542 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 936, Osh city – 44, Chuy province – 446, Osh province – 23, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 66, Issyk-Kul province – 150, Jalal-Abad province – 17, Batken province – 14. Out of the 1,703 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 9 people (0.5%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,152 patients (67.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 447 (26.2%) in severe and 95 (5.5%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,778, Osh city – 49, Chuy province – 497, Osh province – 32, Talas province – 16, Naryn province – 21, Issyk-Kul province – 96, Jalal-Abad province – 43, Batken province – 10.

Fatalities

 

Seven (7) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Chuy province, Issyk-Kul province) and 5 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek city). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,667 cases, including 559 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,108 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Ten (10) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases in the red zone. Four (4) cases occurred in Bishkek city, 3 in Chuy province, 3 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,505. In the past twenty-four hours, 3 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 8 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,440 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
