Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 309 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 176 patients, Osh city – 3, Chuy province – 86, Osh province – 9, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 24, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 4.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 92,718 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 13th, 2021, a total of 329 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 205, Osh city – 9, Chuy province – 75, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 18, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 3.

Overall, 99,645 cases were registered during the entire period, including 55,053 laboratory-confirmed cases and 44,592 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5,319 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,750 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,489 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 985, Osh city – 51, Chuy province – 444, Osh province – 19, Talas province – 10, Naryn province – 65, Issyk-Kul province – 153, Jalal-Abad province – 14, Batken province – 9. Out of the 1,750 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 13 people (0.7%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,187 patients (67.8%) are in moderately severe condition, 468 (26.7%) in severe and 82 (4.6%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,706, Osh city – 54, Chuy province – 507, Osh province – 25, Talas province – 12, Naryn province – 20, Issyk-Kul province – 98, Jalal-Abad province – 54, Batken province – 13.

Fatalities

 

Six (6) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 4 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 3, Chuy province – 1) and 2 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,681 cases, including 564 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,117 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Twelve (12) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases in the red zone. Six (6) cases occurred in Bishkek city, 3 in Chuy province, 3 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,523. In the past twenty-four hours, 3 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 6 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,455 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
