Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 235 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 166 patients, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 45, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 3, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 92,953 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 14th, 2021, a total of 200 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 124, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 37, Osh province – 7, Talas province – 5, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 15, Jalal-Abad province – 6, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 99,845 cases were registered during the entire period, including 55,201 laboratory-confirmed cases and 44,644 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3,642 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,768 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,427 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 987, Osh city – 50, Chuy province – 450, Osh province – 18, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 65, Issyk-Kul province – 161, Jalal-Abad province – 18, Batken province – 10. Out of the 1,768 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 14 people (0.7%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,204 patients (68.0%) are in moderately severe condition, 464 (26.2%) in severe and 86 (4.8%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,654, Osh city – 52, Chuy province – 492, Osh province – 29, Talas province – 15, Naryn province – 20, Issyk-Kul province – 102, Jalal-Abad province – 52, Batken province – 11.

Fatalities

 

Six (6) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 1) and 3 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek – 2, Chuy province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,687 cases, including 567 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,120 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Four (4) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 2 in Bishkek city, 1 in Chuy province, 1 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,527. In the past twenty-four hours, 4 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,463 medical workers have recovered in the republic
