Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for May 15th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 349 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including:  Bishkek city – 200 patients, Osh city – 6, Chuy province – 97, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 14, Issyk-Kul province – 21, Jalal-Abad province – 8, Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 93,302 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 15th, 2021, a total of 404 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 294, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 65, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 20, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 100,249 cases were registered during the entire period, including 55,524 laboratory-confirmed cases and 44,725 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5,117 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,717 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,524 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 965, Osh city – 45, Chuy province – 436, Osh province – 20, Talas province – 9, Naryn province – 62, Issyk-Kul province – 152, Jalal-Abad province – 18, Batken province – 10. Out of the 1,717 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 15 people (0.8%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,163 patients (67.7%) are in moderately severe condition, 449 (26.1%) in severe and 90 (5.2%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,766, Osh city – 55, Chuy province – 471, Osh province – 27, Talas province – 15, Naryn province – 18, Issyk-Kul province – 109, Jalal-Abad province – 53, Batken province – 10.

Fatalities

 

Eight (8) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 4 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 1, Chuy province – 3) and 4 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek – 3, Talas province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,695 cases, including 571 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,124 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Twelve (12) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case in the red zone: 9 in Bishkek city, 2 in Chuy province, 1 in Jalal-Abad province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,539. In the past twenty-four hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,468 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
