Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 314 patients with COVID-19 diagnosis confirmed on the basis of laboratory and clinico-epidemiological data recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 228 patients, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 58, Osh province – 5, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 0, Issyk-Kul province – 8, Jalal-Abad province – 8, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 96,433 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 25th, 2021, a total of 298 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 144, Osh city – 23, Chuy province – 86, Osh province – 7, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 13, Issyk-Kul province – 18, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 103,000 cases were registered during the entire period, including 57,558 laboratory-confirmed cases and 45,442 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5,374 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,575 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,200 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 849, Osh city – 55, Chuy province – 378, Osh province – 28, Talas province – 21, Naryn province – 64, Issyk-Kul province – 142, Jalal-Abad province – 25, Batken province – 13. Out of the 1,575 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 14 people (0.9%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,051 patients (66.7%) are in moderately severe condition, 420 (26.7%) in severe and 90 (5.7%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,453, Osh city – 66, Chuy province – 405, Osh province – 37, Talas province – 20, Naryn province – 34, Issyk-Kul province – 148, Jalal-Abad province – 35, Batken province – 2.

Fatalities

 

Eight (8) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 3 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 5 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,765 cases, including 609 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,156 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Sixteen (16) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 1 case in the red zone. Seven (7) cases occurred in Bishkek, 3 in Chuy province, 2 in Osh city, 2 in Osh province, 2 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,611. In the past twenty-four hours, 2 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 7 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,541 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
