Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 332 patients with COVID-19 diagnosis confirmed on the basis of laboratory and clinico-epidemiological data recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 230 patients, Osh city – 11, Chuy province – 51, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 25, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 1.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 96,765 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 26th, 2021, a total of 207 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered within the past twenty-four hours across the republic. These include: Bishkek city – 102, Osh city – 8, Chuy province – 40, Osh province – 8, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 24, Jalal-Abad province – 11, Batken province – 3.

Overall, 103,207 cases were registered during the entire period, including 57,715 laboratory-confirmed cases and 45,492 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5,371 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,596 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,045 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 865, Osh city – 58, Chuy province – 383, Osh province – 31, Talas province – 20, Naryn province – 58, Issyk-Kul province – 142, Jalal-Abad province – 25, Batken province – 14. Out of the 1,596 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 16 people (1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,071 patients (67.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 424 (26.6%) in severe and 85 (5.3%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,304, Osh city – 60, Chuy province – 388, Osh province – 40, Talas province – 22, Naryn province – 38, Issyk-Kul province – 145, Jalal-Abad province – 46, Batken province – 2.

Fatalities

 

Eight (8) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 6 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 2, Chuy province – 3, Talas province – 1) and 2 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,773 cases, including 615 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,158 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Seven (7) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours with 0 cases in the red zone. Two (2) cases occurred in in Bishkek city, 2 in Chuy province, 1 in Osh city, 1 in Batken province, 1 in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,618. In the past twenty-four hours, 4 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,549 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
