In the past twenty-four hours, 386 patients with COVID-19 diagnosis confirmed on the basis of laboratory and clinico-epidemiological data recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 271 patients, Osh city – 9, Chuy province – 67, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 13, Issyk-Kul province – 10, Jalal-Abad province – 11, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 97,151 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 27th, 2021, a total of 376 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered within the past twenty-four hours across the republic. These include: Bishkek city – 238, Osh city – 17, Chuy province – 66, Osh province – 14, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 21, Jalal-Abad province – 9, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 103,583 cases were registered during the entire period, including 58,040 laboratory-confirmed cases and 45,543 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5,386 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,614 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,011 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 879, Osh city – 62, Chuy province – 373, Osh province – 35, Talas province – 22, Naryn province – 54, Issyk-Kul province – 150, Jalal-Abad province – 23, Batken province – 16. Out of the 1,614 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 18 people (1.1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,108 patients (68.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 404 (25.0%) in severe and 84 (5.2%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,254, Osh city – 64, Chuy province – 395, Osh province – 47, Talas province – 22, Naryn province – 34, Issyk-Kul province – 147, Jalal-Abad province – 46, Batken province – 2.

Fatalities

 

Eight (8) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 5 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek –3, Chuy province – 1, Naryn province –1) and 3 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Chuy province – 2, Issyk Kul province –1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,781 cases, including 620 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,161 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Fourteen (14) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 6 cases in Bishkek city, 1 in Chuy province, 2 in Osh province, 3 in Issyk-Kul province, 1 in Naryn province, 1 in Talas province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,632. In the past twenty-four hours, 0 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,553 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
