Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for May 4th

Recovered patients

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 225 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 133 patients, Osh city – 4, Chuy province – 58, Osh province – 3, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 9, Issyk-Kul province – 9, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 4.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 90,146 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 4th, 2021, a total of 224 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 139, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 63, Osh province – 2, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 11, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 0.

Overall, 96,561 cases were registered during the entire period, including 52,568 laboratory-confirmed cases and 43,993 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

5,084 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,503 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,295 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 839, Osh city – 41, Chuy province – 432, Osh province – 27, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 47, Issyk-Kul province – 80, Jalal-Abad province – 19, Batken province – 11. Out of the 1,503 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 6 people (0.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,051 patients (69.9%) are in moderately severe condition, 377 (25.0%) in severe and 69 (4.6%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,632, Osh city – 37, Chuy province – 416, Osh province – 32, Talas province – 29, Naryn province – 11, Issyk-Kul province – 110, Jalal-Abad province – 23, Batken province – 5.

Fatalities

 

Eight (8) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 4 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 1) and 4 cases due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,630 cases, including 542 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,088 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Six (6) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 3 in Bishkek city, 3 in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,457. In the past twenty-four hours, 6 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care and 5 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,384 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
