Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 217 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 149 patients, Osh city – 8, Chuy province – 49, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 1, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 4, Jalal-Abad province – 3, Batken province – 0.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 90,611 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 6th, 2021, a total of 320 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 246, Osh city – 8, Chuy province – 31, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 3, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 16, Jalal-Abad province – 11, Batken province – 2.

Overall, 97,278 cases were registered during the entire period, including 53,171 laboratory-confirmed cases and 44,107 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3,596 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,601 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,437 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 885, Osh city – 37, Chuy province – 454, Osh province – 26, Talas province – 6, Naryn province – 47, Issyk-Kul province – 114, Jalal-Abad province – 20, Batken province – 12. Out of the 1,601 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 3 people (0.1%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,121 patients (70.0%) are in moderately severe condition, 408 (25.4%) in severe and 69 (4.3%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,733, Osh city – 39, Chuy province – 444, Osh province – 38, Talas province – 31, Naryn province – 15, Issyk-Kul province – 96, Jalal-Abad province – 35, Batken province – 6.

Fatalities

 

Three (3) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 1 case due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,640 cases, including 547 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,093 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Three (3) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours: 1 case in Bishkek city, 1 in Chuy province, 1 in Osh city. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,471. In the past twenty-four hours, 5 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,398 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
