Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for May 7th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 348 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: in Bishkek city – 244 patients, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 76, Osh province –  7, Talas province – 4, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 1, Jalal-Abad province – 5, Batken province – 2.

Total number of recoveries during the entire period: 90,959 patients.

New cases

 

As of May 7th, 2021, a total of 385 new cases of laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 226, Osh city – 12, Chuy province – 108, Osh province – 4, Talas province – 0, Naryn province – 16, Issyk-Kul province – 15, Jalal-Abad province – 0, Batken province – 4.

Overall, 97,663 cases were registered during the entire period, including 53,474 laboratory-confirmed cases and 44,189 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

4,291 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 1,600 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 2,465 people are in outpatient care.

The number of cases in inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 904, Osh city – 34, Chuy province – 439, Osh province – 21, Talas province – 7, Naryn province – 53, Issyk-Kul province – 113, Jalal-Abad province – 18, Batken province – 11. Out of the 1,600 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 4 people (0.25%) is categorized as satisfactory, 1,106 patients (69.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 415 (25.9%) in severe and 75 (4.6%) in critical condition.

The number of patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 who are receiving outpatient (at home) treatment comprises: in Bishkek city – 1,689, Osh city – 52, Chuy province – 489, Osh province – 40, Talas province – 26, Naryn province – 18, Issyk-Kul province – 110, Jalal-Abad province – 32, Batken province – 9.

Fatalities

 

Three (3) deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek and Chuy province) and 1 case due to COVID-19 confirmed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Issyk-Kul province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1,643 cases, including 549 laboratory-confirmed cases and 1,094 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Seven (7) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours, including 2 cases in the red zone: 5 cases occurred in Bishkek city, 2 cases in Chuy province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 4,478. In the past twenty-four hours, 3 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 4 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 4,405 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
