Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for November 16th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 439 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: Bishkek city – 104 patients, Osh city – 17, Chuy province – 53, Osh province – 39, Talas province – 15, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 42, Jalal-Abad province – 83, and Batken province – 84.

In total, 57 760 patients have recovered during the entire period.

New cases

As of November 16th, 2020, a total of 479 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 169, Osh city – 26, Chuy province – 77, Osh province – 15, Talas province – 23, Naryn province – 1, Issyk-Kul province – 59, Jalal-Abad province – 64, Batken province – 45.

Overall, 66 983 cases were registered during the entire period, including 34 519 laboratory-confirmed cases and 32 464 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1 293 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 3279 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 4043 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities of Bishkek city comprises 869, in Osh city – 163, Chuy province – 408, Osh province – 602, Talas province – 132, Naryn province – 64, Issyk-Kul province – 387, Jalal-Abad province – 431, Batken province – 223. Out of the 3279 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 64 people (1.9%) is categorized as satisfactory, 2134 patients (65.0%) are in moderate condition, 955 (29.1%) in severe and 126 (3.8%) in critical condition.

Outpatient (at home) treatment is provided to: 1076 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 in Bishkek city, 369 patients in Osh city, Chuy province – 694, Osh province – 78, Talas province – 118, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 108, Jalal-Abad province – 648, Batken province – 950 patients.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 4 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered, including 3 cases due to laboratory confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek – 1, Talas – 2) and 1 case due to COVID-19, diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Batken province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1203 cases, including 333 laboratory confirmed cases and 870 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Twenty (20) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (including 2 medical workers who were infected in the red zone). Bishkek – 7 cases (1 in the red zone), Chuy province – 3 (1 in the red zone), Osh city – 1, Jalal-Abad province – 4, Batken province – 2, Talas province – 3 cases.  The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 comprises 3735 cases. In the past twenty-four hours, 3 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 6 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3499 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
