Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for November 17th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 555 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: Bishkek city – 140 patients, Osh city – 15, Chuy province – 92, Osh province – 72, Talas province – 18, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 51, Jalal-Abad province – 90, Batken province – 72.

In total, 58 315 patients have recovered during the entire period.

New cases

As of November 17th, 2020, a total of 486 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic within the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 143, Osh city – 22, Chuy province – 137, Osh province – 32, Talas province – 18, Naryn province – 7, Issyk-Kul province – 42, Jalal-Abad province – 49, Batken province – 36.

Overall, 67 469 cases were registered during the entire period, including 34 841 laboratory-confirmed cases and 32 628 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 749 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 3138 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 4100 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities of Bishkek city comprises 818, in Osh city – 159, Chuy province – 394, Osh province – 576, Talas province – 133, Naryn province – 69, Issyk-Kul province – 364, Jalal-Abad province – 421, Batken province – 204. Out of the 3138 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 52 people (1.6%) is categorized as satisfactory, 2082 patients (66.3%) are in moderately severe, 882 (28.1%) in severe and 122 (3.8%) in critical condition.

Outpatient (at home) treatment is provided: in Bishkek city – to 1130 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19, in Osh city – to 380 patients, Chuy province – 751, Osh province – 64, Talas province – 116, Naryn province – 19, Issyk-Kul province – 121, Jalal-Abad province – 617, Batken province –  929 patients.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 4 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19  (Bishkek – 1, Talas – 1) and 2 cases due to COVID-19, diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek, Chuy province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1207 cases, including 335 laboratory-confirmed cases and 872 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Fifteen (15) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (including 2 medical workers who were infected in the red zone). Three (3) cases were registered in Bishkek city, 1 case in Chuy province, 1 case in Osh province, 4 cases (1 in the red zone) in Jalal-Abad province, 3 cases in Batken province, 3 cases (1 in the red zone) in Talas province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 3750. In the past twenty-four hours, 6 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3505 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
