Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for November 18th

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 531 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: Bishkek city – 146 patients, Osh city – 15, Chuy province – 93, Osh province – 69, Talas province – 17, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 51, Jalal-Abad province – 71, and Batken province – 59.

In total, 58 846 patients have recovered during the entire period.

New cases

As of November 18th, 2020, a total of 425 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 110, Osh city – 13, Chuy province – 117, Osh province – 50, Talas province – 8, Naryn province – 8, Issyk-Kul province – 55, Jalal-Abad province – 35, Batken province – 29.

Overall, 67 894 cases were registered during the entire period, including 35 087 laboratory-confirmed cases and 32 807 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3206 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 3136 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 3980 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 831, Osh city – 151, Chuy province – 412, Osh province – 554, Talas province – 134, Naryn province – 68, Issyk-Kul province – 387, Jalal-Abad province – 405, Batken province – 194. Out of the 3136 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 52 people (1.6%) is categorized as satisfactory, 2074 patients (66.1%) are in moderately severe condition, 897 (28.6%) in severe and 113 (3.6%) in critical condition.

Outpatient (at home) treatment is provided to 1052 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 in Bishkek city, to 385 patients in Osh city, Chuy province – 754, Osh province – 65, Talas province – 103, Naryn province – 18, Issyk-Kul province – 101, Jalal-Abad province – 593, Batken province –  909 patients.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 5 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered, including 2 cases due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19  (Jalal-Abad – 1, Talas – 1) and 3 cases due to COVID-19, diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek, Chuy province, Osh province). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1212 cases, including 337 laboratory-confirmed cases and 875 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Fourteen (14) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (including 1 medical worker who was infected in the red zone). One (1) case took place in Bishkek, 2 cases (1 in the red zone) in Jalal-Abad province, 3 cases in Batken province and 8 cases in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 3764. In the past twenty-four hours, 4 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 5 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3514 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
