Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for November 21

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 505 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: Bishkek city – 103 patients, Osh city – 24, Chuy province – 113, Osh province – 55, Talas province – 15, Naryn province – 4, Issyk-Kul province – 59, Jalal-Abad province – 53, and Batken province – 79.

In total, 60 294 patients have recovered during the entire period.

New cases

As of November 21st, 2020, a total of 447 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 200, Osh city – 16, Chuy province – 86, Osh province – 25, Talas province – 20, Naryn province – 5, Issyk-Kul province – 49, Jalal-Abad province – 29, Batken province – 17.

Overall, 69 149 cases were registered during the entire period, including 36 013 laboratory-confirmed cases and 33 136 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

3 322 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 3074 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 3819 patients are in outpatient care.

The number of patients in the inpatient facilities comprises: in Bishkek city – 855, Osh city – 132, Chuy province – 412, Osh province – 524, Talas province – 133, Naryn province – 78, Issyk-Kul province – 395, Jalal-Abad province – 372, Batken province – 173. Out of the 3074 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 46 people (1.4%) is categorized as satisfactory, 2088 patients (67.9%) are in moderately severe condition, 818 (26.6%) in severe and 122 (3.9%) in critical condition.

Outpatient (at home) treatment is provided to: 1104 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 in Bishkek city, 408 patients in Osh city, Chuy province – 776, Osh province – 34, Talas province – 114, Naryn province – 24, Issyk-Kul province – 108, Jalal-Abad province – 495, Batken province – 756 patients.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 4 deaths were registered due to COVID-19, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (Bishkek) and 3 cases due to COVID-19 diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek – 2, Talas province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1227 cases, including 343 laboratory-confirmed cases and 884 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Nineteen (19) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours (including 0 cases in the red zone). Six (6) cases occurred in Bishkek city, 7 cases in Chuy province, 1 case in Osh city, 1 case in Jalal-Abad province and 4 cases in Issyk-Kul province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is   3806. In the past twenty-four hours, 7 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and 0 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3532 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
