Statistical data on COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan for November 23

Recovered patients

In the past twenty-four hours, 349 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from care across the republic, including: Bishkek city – 112 patients, Osh city – 1, Chuy province – 44, Osh province – 29, Talas province – 2, Naryn province – 2, Issyk-Kul province – 35, Jalal-Abad province – 54, and Batken province – 70.

In total, 61 160 patients have recovered during the entire period.

New cases

As of November 23rd, 2020, a total of 304 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past twenty-four hours. These include: Bishkek city – 101, Osh city – 2, Chuy province – 51, Osh province – 19, Talas province – 16, Naryn province – 3, Issyk-Kul province – 32, Jalal-Abad province – 72, Batken province – 8.

Overall, 69 885 cases were registered during the entire period, including 36 502 laboratory-confirmed cases and 33 383 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

1 176 PCR tests were carried out in the past twenty-four hours.

Receiving treatment

Currently, a total of 3096 patients throughout the republic are receiving inpatient care, while 3648 patients are in outpatient care.

In the inpatient facilities of Bishkek city – 889, Osh city – 138, Chuy province – 424, Osh province – 479, Talas province – 134, Naryn province – 80, Issyk-Kul province – 408, Jalal-Abad province – 371, Batken province – 173. Out of the 3096 patients receiving inpatient care, the condition of 65 people (2.0%) is categorized as satisfactory, 2064 patients (66.6%) are in moderately severe condition, 829 (26.7%) in severe and 138 (4.4%) in critical condition.

Outpatient (at home) treatment for patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19: in Bishkek city – 1089, in Osh city – 414, Chuy province – 727, Osh province – 29, Talas province – 120, Naryn province – 31, Issyk-Kul province – 94, Jalal-Abad province – 490, Batken province – 654 patients.

Fatalities

 

In the past twenty-four hours, 6 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered, including 1 case due to laboratory-confirmed COVID-19  (Bishkek) and 5 cases due to COVID-19, diagnosed on the basis of clinical and epidemiological data (Bishkek – 1, Chuy province – 1, Osh province – 1, Talas province – 1). The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1237 cases, including 347 laboratory-confirmed cases and 890 cases confirmed based on clinical and epidemiological data.

 

Medical workers

Two (2) new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past twenty-four hours. 1 case occurred in Jalal-Abad province and 1 case in Osh province. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 is 3815. In the past twenty-four hours, 3 medical workers were discharged from inpatient care, and  2 medical workers were released from self-isolation at home. In total, 3545 medical workers have recovered in the republic.
