Recovered patients

 In the past 24 hours, 414 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis recovered and were discharged from treatment facilities, including 65 patients in Bishkek city, 41 in Osh city, 46 in Chuy province, 76 in Osh province, 15 in Talas province, 4 in Naryn province, 22 in Issyk-Kul province, 83 in Jalal-Abad province, and 62 in Batken province.

 48 637 patients recovered in total during the entire period.

New cases

 

For October 28, 2020, a total of 538 new cases with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 were registered across the republic in the past 24 hours. These include 139 cases in Bishkek city, 23 – Osh city, 40 – Chuy province, 52 – Osh province, 25 – Talas province, 17 – Naryn province, 31 – Issyk-Kul province, 86 – Jalal-Abad province, and 125 cases in Batken province.

 57 276 cases were registered during the entire period.

  Receiving treatment

 Currently, a total of 3479 patients across the republic are receiving inpatient care and 3488 people are in outpatient care.

 The number of patients in inpatient facilities of Bishkek city is 646, Osh city – 338, Chuy province – 249, Osh province – 925, Talas province – 96, Naryn province – 40, Issyk-Kul province – 217, Jalal-Abad province – 625, Batken province – 343.

 Outpatient (at home) treatment is provided to 977 patients with laboratory and clinico-epidemiologically confirmed COVID-19 in Bishkek city, to 86 patients in Osh city, Chuy province – 486, Osh province – 0, Talas province – 45, Naryn province – 10, Issyk-Kul province – 54, Jalal-Abad province – 489, and to 1341 patients in Batken province.

  Fatalities

In the past 24 hours, 2 deaths due to COVID-19 were registered, including 2 cases due to laboratory confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis (Bishkek -1, Jalal-Abad province - 1).The overall death toll due to COVID-19 in the republic comprises 1138 cases, including 300 laboratory confirmed and 838 clinico-epidemiologically confirmed cases. 

 Medical workers

 Five new COVID-19 cases were registered among medical workers in the past 24 hours. One case occurred in Batken province, 3 cases in Osh province, and 1 case in Bishkek. The total number of medical workers with COVID-10 diagnosis comprises 3602. In the past 24 hours, 1 medical worker was discharged from inpatient care, and 11 were released from outpatient care. In total, 3302 medical workers recovered across the republic.
