In der Schweiz gilt die «ausserordentliche Lage» gemäss Epidemiengesetz. In Switzerland, the “exceptional situation” applies in accordance with the Epidemic Act. Alle Läden, Restaurants, Bars sowie Unterhaltungs- und Freizeitbetriebe bleiben bis am 19. April 2020 geschlossen. All shops, restaurants, bars, entertainment and leisure facilities will remain closed until April 19, 2020. Ausgenommen sind unter anderem Lebensmittelläden und die Gesundheitseinrichtungen. Grocery stores and health facilities are excluded. Ansammlungen von mehr als fünf Personen sind verboten . Accumulations of more than five people are prohibited . Wer sich nicht daran hält, muss mit einer Ordnungsbusse rechnen. If you don't stick to it, you can expect a fine. Der Bundesrat hat zur Abfederung der wirtschaftlichen Folgen der Ausbreitung des Coronavirus ein umfassendes Massnahmenpaket in der Höhe von 32 Milliarden Franken beschlossen. The Federal Council has resolved a comprehensive package of measures amounting to CHF 32 billion to cushion the economic consequences of the spread of the corona virus.

Der Kanton Luzern setzt die Bundesmassnahmen zum Schutz der Bevölkerung konsequent um (siehe Mitteilung vom 17. März 2020). The canton of Lucerne consistently implements the federal measures to protect the population (see notification dated March 17, 2020).

Die Massnahmen des Kantons Luzern verfolgen drei Ziele: The measures taken by the canton of Lucerne have three objectives:

1. Die Bevölkerung soll möglichst gut vor einer Ansteckung mit dem Coronavirus geschützt werden. The population should be protected as well as possible from infection with the corona virus.
2. Die Kapazitäten der Spitäler sollen für schwer Erkrankte zur Verfügung stehen. The capacities of the hospitals should be available for the seriously ill.
3. Die gesellschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Auswirkungen des Kampfes zur Eindämmung des Virus sollen so erträglich wie möglich gehalten werden. The social and economic impact of the struggle to contain the virus should be kept as bearable as possible.
