Regarding today’s dashboard:
- The number of cases currently in the ICU can now be found on Page 8.
- The % of all cases currently hospitalized number can be calculated by dividing the number currently hospitalized on page 8 by the total number of cases on page 1.
Special note: As of May 18, COVID-19 testing numbers reflect the date a test is administered, rather than the date the test result is received. DPH believes this to be a more precise picture of how many people are getting tested each day.

Nursing home accountability and support reporting

The Commonwealth has taken strong steps to support the safety of residents in nursing facilities during the COVID-19 public health emergency, and as part of a second round of funding of up to $130 million for two months for nursing homes that meet specific requirements and accountability measures, all facilities are being regularly audited against a 28-point Infection Control Checklist.
