Under the 14-day quarantine travel advisory announced by the Governors of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, individuals traveling to or returning to New Jersey from states with increasing rates of COVID-19 are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days.

* The total number of tests that have been reported to the New Jersey Department of Health using PCR, the most widely used viral testing method. It is not a count of how many people have been tested. Some persons have been tested multiple times, while some tests produce inconclusive results and need to be repeated. Additionally, about 20 percent of the tests performed on New Jersey residents, particularly persons who were tested at private facilities, have been processed by laboratories that are not known to consistently report negative results.
The Department of Health and the Department of Human Services are working to ensure food assistance support for low-income communities is still accessible through the pandemic.
New Jersey's Alternate Care Sites
New Jersey has developed several alternate care options to care for individuals who are COVID positive as well as health care workers and other community members who need to isolate but no longer require acute medical care.
Some New Jersey schools have flooring, once commonly installed in gymnasiums and all-purpose rooms, that may contain mercury.
Healthy New Jersey 2030 Topic Areas have been established. They include Access to Quality Care, Healthy Communities, Healthy Families, and Healthy Living.
