COVID-19 North Carolina Dashboard
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) continuously works to improve the timeliness and accuracy of our data. From Friday, September 4 through Monday, September 7, NCDHHS experienced technical and submission issues, with hospital systems' data resulting in incomplete hospitalization data back to August 31. NCDHHS has worked diligently with all parties to resolve these issues, and data have been corrected for dates when incomplete data were received. Key changes in data before and after these issues were resolved are displayed in the charts below. Data labeled as “post” are incorporated into the hospitalizations data on the NC COVID-19 Dashboards. More information about the changes that were made to data before and after these issues were resolved can be found in the NCDHHS Hospitalizations Data Update document which contains detailed comparison data about all impacted metrics.
Knowing when to dial up or down measures that slow the spread of the virus depends on North Carolina’s testing, tracing and trends. This dashboard provides an overview on the metrics and capacities that the state is following.
