Utah Has More Than 800 Cases; Small Business Loans Announced
Current cases: Utah’s confirmed cases of COVID-19 increased by 90 on Monday after more than 2,000 additional tests were completed, for a total of 806. Two additional deaths have also been reported. As with previous days, nearly half of the new confirmed cases (41) were in Salt Lake County. Other local health departments reporting new cases include Bear River (4), Davis (6), San Juan (2), Southwest Utah (1), Summit (16), Utah (7), Wasatch (5), and Weber-Morgan (2). GOED loans: Because of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic announces a plan to help Utah small business owners. The Utah Leads Together Small Business Bridge Loan program offers a bridge loan to the state’s small businesses with 50 or fewer employees.
