Confirmed Cases Increase by 84 Statewide
Current cases: Utah’s confirmed cases of COVID-19 increased by 84 on Thursday, although less than a 1,000 new test results were reported. The state’s total number of residents with confirmed cases is now 1,074. No new deaths were reported on the dashboard. More than half of the new confirmed cases (32) were in Salt Lake County, which now has 476 confirmed cases. Other local health departments reporting new cases include Bear River (5), Central Utah (2), Davis (10), San Juan (1), Southwest Utah (3), Summit (9), Utah (15), Wasatch (5), and Weber-Morgan (3). Dashboard changes: In looking at the dashboard, note that visitor cases have been replaced by hospitalizations. The 22 confirmed visitor cases are no longer included in the overall number.
GOED loans: The Utah Leads Together Small Business Bridge Loan program offers a bridge loan to the state’s small businesses with 50 or fewer employees.
